Toño Velasco is a visual artist, designer and teacher. He has been a specialist teacher in design projects at the Higher School of Art of the Principality of Asturias, a teacher of design and art for highly gifted students for APADAC. Currently he develops his teaching work in a private way. He was a founding member of the satirical magazine FUNDICIÓN PRINCESA DE ASTUCIAS.
She currently lives in Oviedo developing her personal artistic activity, combining this task with her teaching work developing experimental workshops related to the visual arts such as REAPRENDIENDO A DIBUJAR and BAILANDO CON UN LÁPIZ. She also develops «LIVE PAINTING» activities such as «PIDEME LA LUNA» or live interventions in various musical and theatrical shows.
He has been referenced in media around the world (Washington Post, El Mundo among others) for his artistic projects, the most internationally known being “ESSAY ON MOCKERY”. He has currently held more than 30 solo and group exhibitions, selected as artist of the month in the magazine MADRID ART PROCESS and included in the INTERNATIONAL PORTRAIT GALERY.
